How do flight simulators, flight comparison with the real thing in terms of functionality. ?

Let’s say I’m very familiar with the latest flight simulator from Microsoft or even X-Plane and on a flight where the pilot involved in an accident that harms or diminishes their ability to continue flying. Think that with my knowledge of flight simulators, I will be able to manage the plan and to bring security, is to land at an airport nearby?
